I heard about this place on KFI radio. The hosts interviewed the owner. The Rance's favorite sounded good. OMG!!!! The best pizza I have ever had! The tomato sauce was so fresh and a little chunky, tons of cheese and the crust was perfect. The Rance's favorite had meatballs, bacon and jalapeños. I don't know if I ordered the Chicago style or the pan pizza. I ordered before and my daughter picked it up. She said everyone was so nice. And....... They are 6 mins away! We are going to be regular customers for sure.

Pizza is solid - it's not as good as you get in Chi town but nothing is and this is pretty close. Surprisingly, for the wife and I, the wings were the hit! We had the Thai wings and they killed! With respect to the pizza, the toppings were solid, crust was good but the chunky tomato sauce was the star. But oh those wings.. mmmm.. and the ranch was quality. Lady was super nice and place was clean. There isn't much like this around. In Chicago it might be 4 or even 3 stars (probably 3.5 rounded up to 4) but in SoCal, it's an easy 5.

I had a great opportunity to introduce more friends to Rance's Pizza while watching the Dodger/Yankee game on Saturday night. As expected, RAVE reviews by all! Fortunately, one of my friends has been to Chicago and experienced "Real Deep Dish Pizza" (Giordano's), and he was able to declare that Rance's is the "Real Deal"! The best part is that it is close by in Costa Mesa!! I ordered it on line, and had the 14" Pan Carnivore with the addition of mushrooms and of course ordered it with the "Take and Bake" option. I did have some fresh basil in my garden, so, of course, I added this to the pizza during the baking process! One pizza fed the group and I still have a few slices to enjoy for lunches this week! Another successful Rance's experience!

I recently stop by this place while craving Chicago Pizza, And so glad I did ! Knowing it usually takes over 45 min to prepare, I called ahead to place our order while on the way. for the first bite, both my wife and I were surprised! the flavors were incredible and the cheese --- just wow! there was plenty cheese but it balanced perfectly with everything else. And parring it with beer was also good and I'm so glad to have found a new Chicago Pizza spot. The service also incredibly friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great Chicago Pizza.

I've never tried a deep dish pizza and I guess I still haven't! I tried the classic deep dish but it was the pan style so I hear that's not the official deep dish style. But regardless it was so dang good. It still seemed like it had that deep dish feeling behind it, and we also tried some wings and everything came out in a timely manner. I also got to try an IPA but I only recognized the soda jerk machine for the beer, it wasn't on the menu and the waitress apologized for leaving it off our selection but hey at least these peepers work and I was able to order a delicious voodoo ranger beer that just caught my eye. ;)

I tried the stuffed pizza again and it was not bad. I got it with sausage, green peppers, and onions. They have some of the best wings around, so big and juicy. They have a constantly rotating selection of craft beers on tap.

A very unique pizza experience! The pizza is amazingly tasty. You do have to be patient though! It's takes a good 45 mins to prep. Very worth the wait. And the chicken wings in the bourbon sauce are absolutely divine!!! Washed it down with a cold beer and I was in heaven! The kids were too! Win win

I really enjoyed this pizza.. I am a huge pizza lover, when I called for order, the employee was super nice and was informative.. I mention I am a first-timer to their location.. thats when instructions and information was provided.. I will try this place again.. I love Chicago style pizza. The place was open, clean and plan environment, nothing fancy, a tank top and flip flop ambiance.
